C.H. Robinson is currently seeking a Director Cross Border Strategy who will lead and influence logistics strategy in the cross border space. As the Director, you will be responsible for the implementation and evolution of our cross border go-to-market strategy, building relationships with high-level customers and cross border experts to guide key initiatives. Critical to your success will be creating tailored, best-in-class cross border solutions and refining C.H. Robinson’s approach to navigate markets including pharmaceuticals, automotive, energy, retail, and more. As the Director you will maintain quality touchpoints with customers and networks to support growth and revenue generation.
Location for this position is flexible to North America Office Locations.
We believe that in-person collaboration is key to driving innovation and achieving success. In this role, you will work on-site with the local team and leaders five days a week producing impactful results through face-to-face interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the go-to-market strategy, adjusting plans as necessary
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop an annual plan aligned with growth objectives
- Build and manage relationships with internal teams (pricing, solution design, Customer Shared Services) to maximize efficiency and results
- Use industry trends and analytics to drive business decisions, optimize performance, and improve results
- Interface with customers to understand business drivers, maintain relationships, and share performance results to ensure a positive experience
- Ensure the voice of the customer is reflected in all solutions and service delivery by partnering with internal stakeholders
- Understand and leverage C.H. Robinson’s products, services, and technologies to identify opportunities and drive growth
- Communicate relevant information to employees, including customer initiatives, market impacts, and internal announcements
- Manage peer relationships within and across Cross Borders to ensure collaboration and process improvements
- Provide coaching and mentorship for professional and customer development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 8 years of customer engagement or consultative client management experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and/or cross border
- Bilingual; high proficiency in Spanish and English
- Ability to travel up to 40%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of C.H. Robinson’s carrier and customer-facing business, including pricing strategies, reporting and analytics
- Proven experience consulting with multiple stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency presenting to both internal and external audiences
- Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, relationship building, and influencing skills
- Strong change management skills and change champion
- Ability to work in a matrixed work environment

Compensation Range
$125,600.00 - $287,300.00
