Director of Corporate Strategy & Investments

We are looking for a visionary Director of Corporate Strategy & Investments to drive our company’s growth initiatives and investment strategies.

In this role, you will drive corporate growth initiatives, lead strategic planning, and oversee investment decisions that align with the company’s long-term vision. You will work closely with senior leadership to evaluate market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and execute high-impact investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s long-term corporate strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze business performance metrics to identify growth and optimization opportunities. 
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to develop innovation-driven strategies.
• Establish strategic partnerships and ecosystem collaborations to accelerate growth.
• Lead cross-functional teams in strategic planning initiatives and business transformation projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
• Work closely with Finance to assess return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic initiatives. 
• Identify and evaluate startups, technology ventures, and acquisition targets that align with corporate objectives.
• Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, and risk assessments for potential investments.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investment banks, consultants, and legal advisors.
• Develop business cases for capital allocation and present recommendations to executive leadership.
• Analyze economic trends, industry shifts, and regulatory changes that may impact the company.
• Prepare financial reports and investment presentations for the board and senior management.
• Optimize portfolio management strategies to maximize return on investment (ROI).

Qualifications:

• A relevant university degree from a reputable university, master’s in finance or an MBA is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, investment analysis, and M&A transactions.
• Proven ability to develop and execute business growth strategies in the technology sector.
• IFRS and Turkish Commercial Code knowledge is an asset.
• Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
• In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work with strict deadlines with good time management skills.
• Excellent command of English
