Are you a proven Digital Marketing leader with a strong background in Amazon advertising? We're seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to join our eCommerce team. This Digital Marketing Strategist will have the opportunity to lead our digital marketing strategy and campaigns for our iconic, industry leading brands, such as FIJI Water and Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds. Driving sales across Amazon, Instacart and our click and mortar customers. 

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

  • Lead strategy, planning, budgeting and execution of full funnel programs that drive sales growth across Amazon, Instacart and other eCommerce marketplaces.
  • Establish, deliver and report on financial metrics for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Build, monitor, and manage sponsored ads.
  • Partner with brand and marketing teams on creative assets for display ads.
  • Support the sales team on their retail customers’ eCommerce capabilities and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the media team and digital agencies to manage DSP.
  • Execute and optimize programmatic advertising campaigns within Amazon DSP, focusing on achieving client KPIs and maximizing ROI. This includes campaign setup, targeting, bidding strategies, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Analyze campaign performance data, identify trends and insights, and implement optimizations to improve campaign effectiveness. This includes A/B testing, audience refinement, and bid adjustments.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop programmatic advertising strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives. This involves understanding client goals, target audience, and product offerings.
  • Provide insights into digital grocery industry, staying up-to-date on digital advertising trends to build and maintain competitive advantage in the online space.

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of progressive experience developing and executing digital advertising strategies.
  • Must have working knowledge of Amazon campaign creation and management. 
  • Experience with a mix of platforms and software would be useful such as PromoteIQ, CitrusAd, Helium10 etc.
  • Experience with programmatic ads.
  • Deep understanding of the Amazon DSP platform, including audience targeting options (e.g., product targeting, contextual targeting, audience lists), bidding strategies, reporting capabilities, and integrations with other Amazon services.
  • Demonstrates a curiosity for the latest eCommerce trends and understands how to test and evaluate different waves of ad theory and algorithm changes.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or M.S. preferred.
  • CPG food & beverage industry experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to use data to formulate profitability driven decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally, build effective relationships and influence decision making both internally and externally to achieve business goals.
  • Excel at storytelling and presenting diverse information in a clear, concise manner with a data-supported point of view; executive presentation experience a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; modeling and advanced functions a plus.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $115,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
