Job Description
Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage environments in cloud (AWS or Azure)
- Be in charge of: Automate Build and Deployment process
- Release artifacts process
- Proactively monitor and maintain applications availability
- Act as first-line responders to application/platform issues (e.g. Application availability, performance degradation)
- Collaborate with the team and others to resolve tickets
- Release new applications and application configuration different environments
- Identify improvements and areas that can be automated
Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in a relevant field
- Experience implementing Continuous Delivery flows for Java and/or .NET applications
- Experience with Public Cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
- Infrastructure as Code tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, others)
- Scripting languages (Bash, Python, others)
- Monitoring and logging analytic tools (Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk, others)
- Good understanding of Infrastructure, Virtualization, Containers, Networking
Would be a plus:
- Docker, building and deploying containers
- Container Orchestration systems (Kubernetes)
- Understanding of Microservices Architecture principles
