About the Role
As a Demand Planning Analyst, you are responsible for consolidating demand (forecast) across assigned OEMs and regions and in delivering a monthly 24 month rolling “Global” consensus unconstrained forecast, working cross functionally with the respective regional Demand Planning Teams.
What You Will Do
- Ownership, and coordination in consolidating all Global Demand Planning (Forecasting) data and reporting out a monthly 24 month Global Consensus Unconstrained Demand Plan that becomes the input for Supply Planning, for the assigned OEMs and region/s.
- Responsible for the upkeep and reporting of all demand planning data analytics (including KPI-s) within Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Qliksense, Business Warehouse and any other analytics reporting tool that is needed.
- Responsible for monthly BOM explosions that become the basis for procurement negotiations with suppliers.
- Responsible for preparing reports and presentations for leadership meetings.
- Monitor the completeness and integrity of master data elements and adherence to master data policies.
- Highlight data inconsistencies and ensure unneeded and unused data elements are removed.
- Documents the origin and sources for each data element.
- Support monthly financial closing, account review and variance analysis.
- Coordination of 5YP (five years plan) activities together with the Sales excellence team, once a year.
- Ensure 100% adherence to the Global Consensus Demand Planning Process using Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tool.
- Drive forecast excellence with high forecast accuracy levels.
- Participate in problem solving and corrective actions.
- Support all process improvement activities.
- Support special projects as required by the business.
- Any other tasks as required by the business.
What You Need
- Associates degree or equivalent in a related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience in Sales & Operations Planning.
- Knowledge of/experience in ERP systems: SAP, IBP, BW preferred.
- Strong Analytical skills with the ability to manage big data sets.
- Flexible independent worker with an ability to lead and problem solve.
What is Nice to Have
- Strong preference for a background in Global Automotive environment.
- Experience with QlikSense analytics or similar Business Intelligence tool
- Experience with Business warehouse
What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 10% international travel
- Be willing to work in an office and/or home office in Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
