Amentum is seeking a Database Administrator to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division.
Database Administrator Responsibilities Include:

Providing database applications, troubleshooting, and upgrade support.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a Management Information Systems or Computer Science discipline.

Two (2) years’ technical experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration. - OR - Four (4) years’ technical experience in developing complex applications.

Two (2) years’ experience with each of the following: identifying, troubleshooting and resolving live database systems issues; T-SQL and PowerShell Scripts; in the use of query, index and DB I/O performance tuning, and Stored Procedures and SQL coding; Database migration and upgrade; disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore using disk-based backup solutions.

Must be able to obtain and maintain Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.

Require IAT Level II certification or higher, and an IT-2 level clearance.
