We are seeking a Product Manager for Data and Reporting Products to lead the transformation of our Dynamic Reports system. This role is essential in addressing the complexities of reporting on our vast data landscape while meeting the diverse needs of both internal and external customers. The Senior PM will drive the evolution of our reporting capabilities, ensuring that we effectively utilize our technology stack and explore new data product opportunities. By establishing clear ownership and strategic direction, you will help position our organization as a leader in data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities of the Data & Reporting Product Manager

  • Product Ownership: Lead the ownership and strategic direction of DTX reporting system, ensuring it aligns with customer needs and business goals
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and validate that our reporting products effectively serve their needs
  • Roadmap Creation: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that addresses the complexities of large-scale data reporting and explores more efficient solutions
  • API Management: Oversee the DTX reporting API, ensuring its capabilities evolve to meet the demands of our users and drive maximum ROI
  • Data Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with the Data & Core Products team to ensure that DTX’s unique data needs are fully integrated into the overall data strategy
  • Cost Management: Analyze and optimize the costs associated with our current tech stack, exploring alternative data product solutions to improve efficiency
  • Reporting and Analytics Oversight: Manage the reporting needs across BI, analytics, and feature experimentation, ensuring the right tools are in place to meet diverse requirements

Qualification of the Data & Reporting Product Manager

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data products, reporting systems, or analytics
  • SQL Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL is a significant advantage, enabling effective communication with data teams and enhancing data analysis capabilities
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of data architectures, APIs, and reporting tools, with experience in modernizing legacy systems
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills and experience working with diverse stakeholders to drive alignment and engagement
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically about product development, prioritizing user needs and ROI
  • SLA Experience: Familiarity with establishing and managing SLAs and data availability requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly with data engineering, analytics, and core product teams
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
