Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify key challenges and opportunities where data can provide solutions.
- Develop a clear vision and roadmap for data products, aligned with overall business objectives.
- Translate business needs into user stories and product requirements for the data science and engineering teams.
- Prioritize the product backlog and manage the development lifecycle of data products.
- Work closely with data scientists and engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of product ideas.
- Champion data quality and ensure data products adhere to data governance standards.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of data products.
- Analyze usage data and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and iterate on data products.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, keeping them informed of progress and driving adoption of data products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, data science, computer science) or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the data lifecycle and data governance principles.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects effectively.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools is a plus.
- Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, or other data management technologies (a plus).
