Job Description:

We’re looking for a Data Operations Analyst to join our GWAM Technology Data & BI Services Team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to be involved with an Agile, high performing team doing application support, application deployment, business requirement gathering and data analysis all in support of solutions that conform to Manulife standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for a wide range of systems by working with business clients and teams to debug and troubleshoot applications, including SQL, Python, PowerShell, .Net, VBA, and Perl scripts.
• Data Analysis and Investigation: Analyze and resolve data-related issues, such as incorrect data or discrepancies, and investigate feed failures using tools like Azure Data Factory, CA, and Databricks.
• Reporting and Metrics: Design and build reports using tools like PowerBI, Power Automate, or PowerApps, and track key metrics to develop strategies for increased efficiency.
• Collaboration and Development Coordination: Work with development teams to coordinate efforts for both major and minor enhancements, ensuring alignment and progress.
• Continuous Improvement and Documentation: Stay updated on industry standards and methodologies, consistently apply continuous improvement principles, and document findings and processes for application support.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree holders are welcome to apply
• Experience: Minimum 2 years working experience supporting systems at Level 2 (support)
• Hybrid Work Arrangement: 3 days on-site (in UP Ayala Technohub, Quezon City) and 2 days Work From Home every week, in a rotating shift (day/mid/night).
• Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:
  • Understanding of Azure Cloud Technologies – Azure Data Factory, Databricks, (Required)  
  • Successful candidate will have strong knowledge and experience (at least 2 year-experience) in at least 4 of the following technologies:
  • CA Workload Automation
  • MS SQL / Oracle
  • Shell Scripting/ Power Shell / UNIX
  • Big Data Technologies like HIVE, HADOOP, Oozie and NiFi
  • PowerBI
  • Informatica development (or related ETL tools)
