The Integration Specialist is a supporting role that assists the Technical Lead in the development, testing, and implementation of integration solutions for clients. They collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders—including business analysts, developers, project managers, and end-users—to grasp the client's needs, requirements, and objectives thoroughly.
Roles & responsibilities:
Consulting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design effective integration solutions.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain integration processes.
- Configure APIs, connectors, and other integration components to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth operation of critical business processes.
- Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and data accuracy.
- Optimise integration workflows to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in integration technologies and methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration standards, processes, and tools within the organisation.
- Work on support tickets to maintain and enhance existing deployed integration flows.
Business Development/Leadership/Strategy
- Promote and encourage innovation within the team
- Oversee complete process framework as per the ITIL best practices and standards
- Continuously streamline critical data environment processes to achieve best operations practices.
- Lead all operational problem resolutions in data environment to ensure problems and incidents are properly addressed and resolved within agreed SLA’s
- Driving a team of 3-4 members to meet KPIs
- Manage all system handover tasks from development owners to bed down into BAU.
- Confidently propose longer-term solutions with knowledge of SQL in an enterprise environment and using tools such as SSRS, SSIS and Visual Studio
Client Support
- Respond to client support questions and requests via phone or email where necessary
- Provide technical guidance
Risk & Compliance
- Comply with relevant firm and industry legislation and incorporate into practices and processes as relevant
- Report all identified risks, breaches
- Comply with relevant WH&S legislation, adhering to reasonable instructions, work procedures and practices to maintain the health and safety of the team
- Report all work place hazards and incidents
Key performance indicators:
- Agreed upon through the performance measurement process with the Managing Partner
Special conditions:
- Ordinary full-time hours: 38 hours per week between 8am – 6pm
- On occasion some out of hours work may be required – please note unpaid overtime may also be required on occasions

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in integration development, preferably with MuleSoft or Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
- Proficiency in Java or other programming languages commonly used in integration development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle Fusion) and enterprise architecture is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Passion for learning and professional development, with a desire to grow as part of an expanding team.
- Relevant certifications in MuleSoft and Oracle Integration Cloud (preferred)
