Job Title:Data Engineer (Contract - Freelance)

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring, processing, and managing large-scale data efficiently. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and ensuring data quality. The candidate should have expertise in SQL, ETL processes, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop Firmware for keyboards, mice or other computer accessories
- Partner with a cross functional team of experts in Electrical Engineering, Tracking Technologies, Optical, etc.
- Integrate 3rd party components into our design
- Partner with SW experts for interface design, implementation and integration
- Validate your work, write production code, and automated tests
- Clarify and address the root cause related to firmware.
- Participate in product/system level architecture planning, review and collaborate with cross-functional teams
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Data Engineering & Processing
● Write efficient SQL queries and scripts to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
● Ensure data integrity and quality through systematic validation and error-handling processes.
● Optimize data storage solutions for performance and scalability.
2. Data Pipeline Development & Automation
● Develop scalable, high-performance data pipelines using modern data engineering tools.
● Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance to enhance efficiency.
3. Data Visualization & Reporting
● Utilize Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools to create dashboards and reports.
● Work with business stakeholders to define reporting needs and optimize data presentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Expertise in SQL scripting at least 2 years
Experience in SQL Server ● Hands-on experience with workflow management tools is plus
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Ensure data accessibility and usability across teams.
