About the Opportunity
Current Global is looking for a culture-obsessed creative powerhouse with a passion for sports and earned media to join our rapidly growing team in NYC or Chicago. - Sports Enthusiast: Expansive knowledge and obsession for various sports, athletes and sports culture.
- Strategic Storyteller: A conceptual thinker with exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, capable of turning ideas into compelling narratives.
- Media-Savvy: Possesses a strong understanding of modern media consumption habits and behaviors.
- Idea Generator: Skilled at developing big brand ideas and collaborating with fellow creatives to bring them to life.
- Resourceful Problem-Solver: Thrives in ambiguity, demonstrating adaptability and a knack for finding ways to make things happen.
- Team-Oriented: Highly collaborative and excited to work within diverse team structures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create disruptive ideas that drive earned media and spark conversations.
- Concept across the media landscape, from social and activations to stunts, content, and more.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including Copywriters, Art Director, Designers, Strategists, Integrated Media Specialists, and Client Experience leads.
- Present ideas with clarity and confidence to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Be fearless in your creativity—never settle for ordinary.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience at a creative agency (PR, Social, Advertising) brand or media company.
- Self-motivated, hardworking, well-organized, thick-skinned, and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.
- Possess a portfolio of highly creative ideas that demonstrate culture-forward thinking and an understanding of the earned media landscape.

New York City Salary Range: $64,400 - $80,000
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
