Program Overview
McKesson’s Intern program is 12 weeks long, and is designed to provide:
- A real-life working environment
- A solid foundation of experience and hopeful offer of full-time employment
- A cohort experience with other interns

We are looking for candidates who have:

Work Term: Summer 2025; starting May 2025
Duration: 4 months
Location: Hybrid – GTA Campus 2300 Meadowvale Boulevard, Mississauga, ON L5N 5P9
Job Responsibilities:
The Corporate Strategy & Business Development Intern will support and lead several pivotal strategic engagements at McKesson Canada, including, but not limited to:
- Qualitative and quantitative research
- Market landscape, trends, and dynamics
- Consumer preferences, prices, marketing preferences, and distribution patterns
- Competitive intelligence, strategies, and threats
- Data-gathering and analysis
- Measurement of outcomes and effectiveness of programs and strategies
- Monitoring and forecasting of sales and marketing trends
- Insight communication and recommendations
- Clearly articulated reports and presentations
- Simple and reader-friendly charts, graphs, and visual aids
Qualifications:
Work experience: 1-3 years of prior experience in fields related to market research and data analytics.
Skills that are most likely to drive success in the role:
- Analytical thinking
- Detail-oriented approach to qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior
- Ability to gather, clean, analyze and interpret large volumes of data
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to communicate across written and verbal formats
- Ability to simplify complex information into a reader-friendly format
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Intermediate / advanced Excel skills
- Intermediate PowerPoint skills
- Basic understanding of databases and statistical packages
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including but not limited to, STEM, statistics, finance, business, market research, etc.
Physical Requirements
- Role is based in the Mississauga office, following a hybrid, ‘Office as a Destination’ approach (averaging 1-2 days a week in the office)
- Occasional travel (~10%).

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
