The Corporate IT Manager will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving our technical ecosystem, which includes company-wide tools, remote hardware, software solutions, and security protocols. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a distributed environment, is comfortable working across time zones, and enjoys working with a diverse team of both full-time employees and contractors. This is a hands-on, people-centered position where you’ll address everything from routine troubleshooting to more complex IT projects that improve our overall system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. IT Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Provide day-to-day technical support to employees and contractors across multiple platforms (Mac, Windows, Linux).
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to ensure team productivity and minimal downtime.
    • Use remote support tools to assist team members in various locations and deliver exceptional user experience.
  2. Systems, Network, and Hardware Administration:
    • Administer and optimize internal systems and cloud services (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, etc)
    • Manage hardware devices, including laptops, desktops, and other peripherals. This includes provisioning, configuring, and troubleshooting issues.
    • Oversee hardware asset management, ensuring proper tracking, maintenance, and replacement of devices as needed.
    • Manage permissions and security configurations across platforms and ensure continuous access control compliance.
  3. Onboarding and Offboarding:
    • Configure and deploy necessary hardware, software, and tool access for new hires across global locations, ensuring smooth onboarding experiences.
    • Manage offboarding processes securely, including data removal, asset recovery, and access revocation in line with company security policies.
  4. Tool and Software Management:
    • Manage the full lifecycle of company-wide tools and applications, such as Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Atlassian Suite and others, ensuring optimal performance and security.
    • Research, implement, and maintain new tools or enhancements to improve team productivity and security.
    • Conduct regular audits of software licenses and user permissions, optimizing usage and reducing overhead costs.
  5. Security and Compliance:
    • Implement cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with company policies, including regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and patch management.
    • Conduct periodic training for team members on security awareness, data protection, and best practices for working remotely.
    • Respond promptly where required to security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
  6. Documentation and Process Improvement:
    • Maintain detailed documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and internal knowledge bases for end-users.
    • Continuously identify, suggest, and implement improvements in IT operations to drive efficiency and productivity.
    • Develop and maintain scripts and automations to support IT processes.
    • Utilize APIs to monitor and manage company spend on various IT tools.

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience in enterprise environments.
  • Advanced expertise in Office 365 administration (Azure Entra ID, Enterprise Applications, Exchange).
  • Strong, in-depth knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • System Administration Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence), Slack, Zoom, Hubspot, tray.io, and similar enterprise applications.
  • Security Expertise including MFA, SSO/SAML, and passwordless options.
  • Solid scripting and automation skills, with proven experience automating IT processes.
  • Experience working with APIs for billing and system integrations.
  • Prior experience in laptop procurement, MDM, and overall IT inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Based in the Austin, TX Metro Area or willing to relocate.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with single sign on solutions such as Okta for identity management 
  • Experience with MDM solutions to manage and secure company devices remotely.
  • Understanding of fast-paced, agile environments and a comfort level with rapid scaling and change.
