POSITION SUMMARY

The Coordinator, Entertainment Industry Relations role will be responsible for coordinating and assisting in executing the brand’s VIP talent strategies in alignment with the brand’s core positioning and values to drive key business goals and objectives. In conjunction with team’s global communications, influence, advocacy and social media marketing efforts, this role will partner closely PR/Marketing and Social Media teams to empower and drive brand relevancy through a network of key talent and brand relationships spanning culture and lifestyle.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate celebrity sample requests with key stylists and agents in the US and provide support and guidance across all regions ensuring consistency in a timely and effective manner.
  • Support regional talent requests and work with brand experience and social media teams on identifying proper opportunities and support for regionally lead events.
  • Manage shipments and shipment invoices for sample traffic flow through the global office both internally and externally including courier management.
  • Assist in research and identification of relevant talent and cultural opportunities across product, content and experience.
  • Assist with the VIP budget, tracking expenses for events, VIP transportation, grooming, sample orders, and custom garments.
  • Ensure the media alert process best upholds the celebrity strategy and brand vision ensuring coverage is summarized in collaboration with PR teams.
  • Monitor celebrity dressing, performance, conduct competitive analysis and formulate reports for internal visibility.
  • Manage travel, bookings, scheduling for VIPs for event attendance and fittings.
  • Maintain global EIR calendar across all regions.
  • Support in the preparation and execution of events as it pertains to celebrity (invite lists, travel, hair and make-up, dressing, cars, etc.)
  • Support in the preparation and execution of product seeding to celebrities and celebrity stylists.
  • Assist department head with daily administrative duties and scheduling.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
 

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Fashion PR/Communications and celebrity relations with a focus on celebrity dressing, gifting, product placements, events and execution of attendance for runway/collection.
  • Fashion communications/celebrity experience in US.  Europe, Asia and South America experience is a plus.

SKILLS

  • Strong communications and time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, maturity and discretion when working with senior executives, high-profile individuals and celebrities
  • Experience in working with couriers including messengers, DHL, Worldnet, Fedex
  • Knowledge/experience of the Calvin Klein brand is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced work environment

  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Strong fashion sense and awareness of popular culture and current events

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the management of VIP/Talent budgets under the VIP/Talent/Marketing umbrella.

DECISION MAKING:

This role will support the Director, EIR in the decisions related to day-to-day management and optimization of VIP strategies and execution, solving problems by providing creative solutions and driving continual efforts to maintain brand standards.

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY:

Continue to create new procedures and identify best solutions to improve efficiency globally. Must be flexible and resourceful to changing opinions to create effective global programs. Be creative on new approaches to communication plans and developing assets to better communicate messages.

ENVIRONMENT:

The environment is extremely fast-paced, highly collaborative, communicative and deadline driven.

Pay Range:$58,000 - $70,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
