Human Services Management Corporation (HSMC) is currently seeking a Controller! The Controller reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
HSMC provides shared business and consulting services to both non-profit and proprietary human services agencies. These services include accounting, payroll, third-party billing, collections, human resources, training, marketing, facility development and quality assurance programs.
Job Description
Direct supervision of Staff Accountants.
Client representative for client corporations delegated by the Chief Financial Officer.
Oversight of the full cycle accounting process for client companies including, but not limited to, review of monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
Review and analyze Financial Statements prepared by the Staff Accountants ensuring all applicable schedules and analysis are prepared accurately and timely.
Oversight of preparation of annual Uniform Financial Reports and related supporting schedules for companies.
Review and analysis of materials necessary for completion of annual audits as prepared by staff Accountants.
Oversee Budget Preparations for client corporations.
Oversight of renewal of insurance policies for delegated client companies.
Assist Chief Financial Officer, and/ or CEO with Ad-Hoc reporting and special projects as necessary.
Any other reasonably related duties as assigned by Chief Financial Office or the CEO.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
At least 7 years of finance/accounting experience and 3-5 years of Supervisory experience
CPA license preferred
