All about the role:
We are looking for 2 interns to participate in an interesting continuous improvement project at 4.0 Susegana Factory led by Process Quality with strong relationship with Manufacturing Engineering and Production departments.
What you’ll do:
The final goal is to reduce scrap rate at the Genesi production.
For that, the interns will work closely with the Production, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Departments.
In detail, you will:
- Active and constant presence at the shopfloor to collect data, observe the process, interact with operators and other team members.
- Analyse data and suggest improvements.
Who you are:
No experience is required.
We are searching for curious people with methodological approach.
Ability to interact with other team members, ranging from operators to managers.
- University students preferably in Engineering (production, chemical, electronic or mechanical) or Statistics
- Knowledge of Statistics, Lean Manufacturing, Quality tools and Problem Solving Methodologies are considered a plus
- Excel, Power point, BI tools and programming languages are considered a plus.
Where you’ll be:
You will be based in Electrolux main Food Preservation global site, in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour distance from Venice, where we are undergoing multimillion industry 4.0 investment. Here you will interact with different functions of the organization such as Quality, Maintenance, R&D, Production, and Supply Chain with the common goal to create the refrigeration of the future.
