As a Content & SEO Operations Manager, you are a part of our product organization, and you will play a critical role in structuring and optimizing our content processes across the platform AutoScout24. You will ensure the effective and efficient use of our content management system, particularly Contentful, and collaborate closely with various international teams to maintain quality and consistency across content.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement content models in Contentful that meet editorial and technical requirements, enabling efficient localization.
- Develop and continuously improve editorial workflows to enhance content quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular content quality checks and establish guidelines to maintain consistency across platforms.
- Set up and execute tests to challenge and refine current practices, driving innovation in content operations.
- Provide training sessions and materials to ensure stakeholders effectively use Contentful.
- Offer ongoing support for teams to maximize productivity within the CMS.
- Collaborate closely with UX, Development, and Editorial teams to align content with company strategy, audience expectations, and a user-friendly presentation.
- Use business and content metrics, including SEO fundamentals, to inform content strategy and optimize processes.
Requirements
- Experience with CMS (Contentful or comparable) content model design and platform configuration.
- Skills in structuring and refining editorial processes with a quality-first approach.
- Proven in setting up tests, challenging current practices, and applying feedback to improve content processes.
- Collaborative experience with UX, Development, and Editorial teams; strong communicator.
- Basic knowledge of business/content metrics and SEO fundamentals for optimization.
- Organized, with ability to prioritize and manage projects independently.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills (German, Italian, French, or Dutch) preferred.
