Our client is committed to expanding their telecommunication program designed to provide local communities with accessible and affordable communication tools that help people stay connected to their families, job opportunities, and one another. The primary goal of the Community Outreach Representative is to engage and qualify potential prospects, guiding them through the sign-up process for these essential products.
As a Community Outreach Representative, you will work directly with community members, helping them understand the value and benefits of our client’s products, ensuring they are qualified for enrollment, and supporting them throughout the process. You will play a key role in driving excitement and fostering relationships within the community. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact and is eager to contribute to both the company’s growth and the well-being of the local community.
Community Outreach Representative Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospective enrollees in the local community, educating them about the telecommunication services and assisting them through the qualification and sign-up process.
- Qualify potential customers by determining their eligibility for specialized communication products.
- Generate leads through self-initiated outreach, creating a robust referral pipeline.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and customer service representatives to streamline outreach efforts and share best practices.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sign-up process, offering continued support after enrollment.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment by maintaining professional and friendly relationships with colleagues, management, and clients.
Community Outreach Representative Qualifications:
- An Associate’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, though not required depending on experience.
- At least 1-2 years of customer service, sales, community outreach, or similar experience.
- High emotional intelligence with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional, reliable, and personable demeanor, with a proven ability to build effective relationships with community members, colleagues, and clients.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire for growth and personal development.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
