About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Reporting Analyst to join our newly established Sales Effectiveness Team.
In this pivotal role, you will help drive the standardization, development, and maintenance of key reports, dashboards, and queries that provide valuable business insights to our commercial teams.
Working closely with our Senior Sales Effectiveness Analyst, you will play a key role in building scalable reporting frameworks, ensuring that our sales and commercial operations teams have seamless access to the data they need for informed decision-making.
This role will report directly to the Global Sales Effectiveness Director and is based out of our Barcelona office, where we encourage our teams to join us in person at least two days per week.
What you will do
- Partner with the Senior Sales Effectiveness Analyst to design and implement standardized, scalable reports for commercial teams, ensuring consistency across reporting tools
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple data sources
- Assist in creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Omni, Looker, and Salesforce to deliver actionable business insights
- Support the setup and maintenance of self-service reporting tools, empowering non-technical users to generate and access relevant data independently
- Conduct regular data validation and testing to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of reports and dashboards
- Monitor data pipelines to identify and troubleshoot any issues in reporting tools, ensuring seamless data flow
- Document reporting processes and best practices, providing clear guidelines to help business users understand and effectively utilize reports
- Provide training and support to commercial teams on self-service tools and how to interpret and act on reports
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and FP&A teams to collect feedback and refine reporting requirements for continuous improvement
- Work closely with the BI team to ensure commercial reporting initiatives are aligned with broader organizational strategies.
What you will bring to Ogury
- Prior experience in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write queries to extract and manipulate data effectively
- Experience with BI tools such as Omni, Looker, or Tableau to create impactful reports and dashboards
- Knowledge of Excel for data analysis, reporting, and complex functions is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail to ensure accurate insights
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving approach and a continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiency
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data integration best practices
- Experience in fast-paced industries such as ad tech, tech, or SaaS is a plus
