Want to take your project management expertise to new levels? Come join our team of highly skilled project, portfolio and process excellence managers in the Commercial Portfolio & Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE) team. This role will join our team of project managers and report to the Director of the Commercial PMCoE team.

Commercial PMCoE is responsible for managing a balanced portfolio of projects that supports business growth within the One Agilent commercial organization, which comprises global sales organizations, as well as associated enabling organizations (Marketing, Commercial Operations and Digital, Analytics & Strategy) and other Agilent-wide projects that are sponsored by the Commercial organization.

As Project Manager, you will lead key strategic commercial projects by leveraging deep project management expertise; manage project timeline, deliverables and execution leading cross functional teams of subject matter experts; and be accountable for stakeholder communication and risk management.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead key strategic commercial projects by leveraging deep project management expertise
  • Manage project timeline, deliverables, and execution, operating with subject matter experts in various functions as needed
  • Translate commercial needs into specific deliverables that evolve the commercial model
  • Ensure projects meet performance targets by adhering to processes, and follow standard tracking and reporting for projects
  • Monitor and escalate identified issues and performance deviations
  • Design stakeholder management and communication plan to customize to the needs of the project and the stakeholders. And engage with change management specialist to design and deploy change management activities
  • Organize and run project meetings, clearly documenting project progress using standard templates and processes
  • Ensure monitoring against project objectives throughout the execution
  • Ensure operational handover of project deliverables (processes, tools…) at project closure
  • Participate in continuously evolving and developing the project management center of excellence capabilities

Location: This role can be hybrid or remote, with a preference for candidates located close in Europe or Asia.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors or Masters University Degree or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management at all levels of the organization
  • Solid track record of working across multiple functions in a matrixed organization. Demonstrated skill in partner management and meeting facilitation.
  • Effective interpersonal skills in teamwork, negotiation, and networking
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and uncertainty while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening and written & verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP)
  • Agilent Sales, Commercial Operations or Marketing business experience
  • Experience in Sales, Service or Marketing project execution

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
