This position is part of the Danaher Business System (DBS) and will be remote. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and services with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the DBS Growth Team and report to the DBSL – Growth. You will be responsible for delivering organizational performance and driving continuous improvement across the commercial organization; by using DBS growth tools to meet Policy Deployment (PD) and key Performance indicator (KPI) targets. The commercial DBSL will focus on commercial execution by partnering with regional/functional sales and marketing teams. The DBSL will also be accountable to champion the DBS fundamentals and focus on facilitation and installation of standard work and best practice across commercial enablement functions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead the creation, sustainment, and deployment of continuous commercial improvement processes, best practices, and tools. Key priority areas are:
- Funnel Management (FM)
- Growth Room (GR)
- L2 Ops calls
- Transformative Marketing (TM)
- New Product Launch Excellence (LEx)
- Collaborate on sales effectiveness priorities and initiatives to ensure the commercial engine/system is producing the greatest results for the business
- Act as the thought business partner for VP Sales and Marketing in identifying performance and capability gaps, propose countermeasure to remediate and support Sales leaders in the development and deployment of Key Account management, Account Based marketing and Value Selling.
- Work with Marketing, Sales and Sales Enablement organization to develop and manage a funnel of growth initiatives to achieve key organizational strategic initiatives
- Assist commercial leaders to create a DBS project Roadmap (how to use DBS tools to drive sustainable results) including implementing commercial daily management and PSP to find root cause and countermeasure for driving/delivering growth plans
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or commercial positions.
- Ability to travel is required (domestic and internationally) up to 50% of time.
- Strong background in DBS fundamentals with experience leading improvement processes such as PSP, Kaizens, funnel management, etc.
- Demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, analytical, quantitative, qualitative, and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication skills to work with individuals across all levels of the organization and the ability to train others
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Hands-on experience with DBS tools: Funnel Management (FM), Growth Room (GR), Transactional Process Improvement (TPI), Transformative Marketing (TM), Launch Excellence (LeX), Visual Project Management (VPM), Customer Insight (CI), Voice of Customer (VOC).
- Certified Practitioner (CP) in one or more Fundamental or Growth DBS tools
- Ability to work and influence all levels of the organization from executive leaders, senior leaders, functional leaders, and practitioners in all functional areas.
The salary range for this role is $110,000-140,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
