As our SRE specialist, you will be responsible for supporting global customers who use Huawei Cloud services, contributing package installations, configuration files changing, helping log analyses, issue escalating, customer support and incidents response. You’ll be working closely with other SRE teams and customers.
You will have the opportunity to work on high growth cloud platforms and grow in the role and define your own path to success. You will be able to work autonomously and use your own initiative to proactively drive success for global customers. The role will involve working in close collaboration with the engineering teams. The ideal candidate has a solid background in Cloud Services, Development, Analytical Approach and strategically thinks and is comfortable working across various platforms and systems.
- Manage cloud operations in FaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, cloud integration, developer services, and cloud-native technologies.
- Oversee the migration and support of public cloud services and solutions, ensuring the delivery and support of major projects.
- Provide training for cloud developers, partners, and customers on using HUAWEI CLOUD services efficiently, and offer strong support during their cloud journey.
- Support post-production by monitoring infrastructure and in-house applications, and responding to alerts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer software or related fields, preferably with a focus on Telco Cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud provider (HUAWEI CLOUD, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with design, installation, troubleshooting, and upgrading VMware products.
- Basic knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/SSL/TLS).
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills to independently clarify requirements and provide solutions.
- Experience in DevOps or related technologies.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
Senior Qualifications:
- Familiarity with installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of mainstream databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of network elements.
- Experience with Git best practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with automation/configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with monitoring and log management frameworks (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Mandatory More than 2 years of hands-on experience with at least one public cloud provider (HUAWEI CLOUD, AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Conduct acceptance tests post-deployment according to guide documents, and support customers during their acceptance process.

- Document delivery/acceptance issues, solutions, and experiences to improve quality and efficiency.
- Provide post-delivery support for system maintenance and issue resolution.
- Provide migration solutions and operations for customers between the same clouds or from different cloud vendors.
