Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team, specializing in managed services, particularly in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions that meet our clients' needs while ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Solution Design:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design cloud architectures using Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Implementation & Configuration:
- Deploy and configure cloud resources, services, and applications.
- Migrate existing applications and data to cloud environments.
- Managed Services:
- Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance for cloud services to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance.
- Performance Optimization:
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of cloud environments.
- Troubleshooting & Support:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs and enhance service delivery.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and configurations.
- Prepare reports on cloud performance, usage, and incident management.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 managed services.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Familiarity with monitoring and management tools for cloud services.
