Climate and Energy Manager
Job Description:
Arrow Electronics is seeking a Climate and Energy Manager to join our team. This individual will support the development and execution of Arrow's environmental sustainability strategy. This role will engage across multiple components of our climate and energy work; including but not limited to managing climate transition and mitigation plans, evaluating climate risk and opportunities, and supporting climate target setting.
As a Climate and Energy Manager, you will support with strategy, implementation, and management of corporate level environmental sustainability initiatives, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance against regulations such as the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop a transition plan for climate change mitigation as well as a climate resilience plan
- Support Arrow leadership to ensure business strategies and models are compatible with the transition to a sustainable economy
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Risk, and Real Estate teams to measure and disclose how Arrow's climate transition plan is embedded in and aligned with financial planning and investment decision making
- Develop and manage a process to identify climate-related impacts, risks, and opportunities to Arrow and across Arrow's supply chain
- Inform the creation and management of policies related to climate mitigation and resilience planning
- Evaluate options such as greenhouse gas removal, greenhouse gas storage, and internal carbon pricing in the context of Arrow's sustainability strategy and business objectives
- Managing disclosures and ensuring compliance against relevant environmental regulations
- Assist Director of Sustainability and other Managers of Sustainability with strategy, project, process, and vendor management
What You'll Need
- 5 years of experience in Sustainability management, environmental reporting, or related areas
- Bachelor's degree with an educational focus in Environmental Sustainability preferred. Master's degree a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in climate scenario modeling, climate transition planning, and risk and resilience analysis within a corporate business setting
- Strong organizational, project management, and financial skills to effectively balance competing priorities while adhering to specific deadlines
- Advanced verbal and written communications skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work, collaborate, and influence change across functions, management levels, and globally diverse employee populations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, produce manuals, and prepare presentations and proposals. Must possess ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences with differing levels of subject matter knowledge and respond to question from groups of managers, employees, and customers
- Proven self-starter with ability to think and act in a proactive way
- Proficiency in the MS suite with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days from home

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$99,100.00 - $156,200.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
