Responsibilities:

FactSet’s Client Solutions Associates are the essential connection between our clients and our software business. Their expertise ensures that FactSet’s client service is unrivalled in the industry and means we have a client retention rate over 90%.

Our Client Solutions Associates deliver excellent customer service, are naturally good relationship builders and have a keen eye for detail. They are inquisitive, data literate and effective problem solvers. Combining knowledge of the industry and technical expertise, Client Solutions Associates work closely with our investment management and investment banking clients to ensure that they are seamlessly integrating our software into their investment process.

Our consultants provide consulting and support to financial professionals who use FactSet. It is a comprehensive financial information terminal that integrates hundreds of financial and economic databases with the industry's leading financial analysis applications.

Clients: Our main clients are financial institutions such as asset management companies and securities companies.

Consulting and support Department: We communicate with users by phone, email, visits, etc. to:

  • Support for obtaining data from terminals or feeds
  • Create analytical models using Excel
  • Support for using analytical tools such as portfolio analysis and quantitative analysis
  • Conduct training for clients and seminars
  • Developing a deep knowledge base across our business, products, and clients
  • Working on large scale projects that optimize our clients’ workflows
  • Visiting clients in their offices to provide on-site consultation and training
  • Training clients at their desks or in groups
  • Managing a group of accounts assigned to you, ensuring that the relationship is healthy and that clients are getting the most out of the system.
     

[Training] Immediately after joining the company, you will participate in a 7-week training program in Asia Pacific. (2 weeks on-site training at the Manila Training Center + 5 weeks remote participation in Tokyo) After that, you will receive training in the Tokyo office, online learning, and secondary training programs.

We welcome ambitious, team players with proven ability to take initiative and find creative solutions. Applicants must have a genuine interest in Finance, as well as the desire to continually learn and develop in an ever-changing environment.

In addition we require:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Strong numeric, analytical & problem solving skills

  • Language Level : Japanese - Native Level, English - Business Level

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Experience in a client/customer facing role, or a desire to excel in this area

  • A strong knowledge of PC applications, in particular Microsoft Excel

  • ​​​​A commercial attitude

  • Proof of work eligibility in Japan​

Although FactSet considers ambitious graduates from any discipline and candidates with industry experience, we favour those with a background in finance, business, IT, mathematics or economics.
