Hancock Software provides Utilities and State Energy Offices with a SaaS solution for managing energy efficiency retrofits. We are the largest solution provider for low-income residential energy efficiency programs in the United States with 15 statewide deployments and utilities provide the Hancock Software solutions to their trade allies for both residential and commercial energy efficiency retrofit programs. This is a startup company with a marquee list of reference-able customers that has reached an inflexion point in our growth curve.
In this role, the Client Implementation Manager is responsible for assisting customers in the Preparation, Planning, Design, Configuration, Validation, Deployment, and Training phases of implementation for the Hancock Cloud energy efficiency retrofit software product suite. This position will have interaction with Technical Support, Product Management, Engineering, and the Executive team to coordinate resolution of customer deliverables. This is a hands on position requiring software configuration to meet customer business requirements. Existing in-depth knowledge of energy efficiency retrofits and utility efficiency programs is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary manager of customer relationship during the overall implementation/onboarding phase of the client lifecycle
- Clearly define, identify and document business and technical needs and objectives
- Create and execute project plans and revise, as appropriate
- Create user documentation, instructions, and procedures.
- Assist with training on the administration and use of the solution
- Participate in project calls with customers and act as a subject matter expert on Company solutions
- Manage and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Coordinate and track tasks, assigned to both internal and external project team members
- Execute a variety of project tasks such as data imports, configuration, testing, and knowledge transfer
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for report development or product enhancements
- Work across time zones with nationwide clients and with global team members across the U.S., India, and China
- Build strong relationships with customers that extends beyond the implementation phase of a project
- Instrumental in the development of Project Management guidelines, while offering ideas for process improvement
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Offered salary is for candidates meeting minimum qualifications. Salary is flexible and commensurate with experience.
Qualifications for success:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver software implementation projects from presales to final delivery, preferably in this or related industry
- Ability to accurately track multiple detail-intensive, interdependent tasks with timely completion
- 2-5 years project management experience including implementation experience working for a software company preference
- General knowledge of database structure that allows for quick understanding of data migration tools and processes
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Commitment to work well with clients, build successful customer relationships and ensure satisfaction
- Experience working in the energy efficiency retrofit and/or construction industry, especially utility demand side management space
- Self-motivated and proven productive working with a virtual team
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and project planning software experience
- Successful achievement of project success criteria and business outcomes
