Job Description:
The Cash Application Manager will be responsible for daily cash management operations including transactions, flow of cash, bank account balance management, and report preparations. Ensure all cash management strategies are in line with the latest policies and procedures. Maintain Banking Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with banking institutions and manage organizational bank accounts. Liaise with banks for prompt resolution of any queries or issues. Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations related to cash management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee the daily cash posting operations for 8-10 dedicated Cash App Specialist
- Maintain accurate financial records using Oracle, JDE, and spreadsheets
- Process daily cash applications, including Wire, ACH, ACH Debit payments
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to identify and resolve unapplied payments
- Work with the accounting team to assist in any monthly/quarterly/yearly balancing
- Identify and resolve payment discrepancies promptly
- Generate and process reports as requested by management
- Work closely with the finance, accounting, and collections teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data and timely resolution of issues
- Perform light general ledger tasks and reconciliations
- Assist with AR cleanup efforts to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Identify opportunities to streamline cash application processes, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency
- Manage a queue of customer refund requests for overpayments and provide accurate validation of cash receipt and eligibility for refund
- Perform additional tasks as assigned

- Experience being part of a leadership team driving transformation and strategy
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cash applications and accounts receivable
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with cash applications, collections, AR aging, and domestic cash transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion software is a plus

- Work Environment: This position is in Alpharetta, GA and operates in a professional office environment.
- Positions Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
- Travel: Travel is not expected for this position.

Pay Range:
$78,900-$110,500
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
