Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Capital Administrator (Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst) to join the Payload and Ground Systems Division Operations organization.
In this role, the candidate will provide direct support to Division and Functional Organization points of contact to drive efficient Capital project administration.
The position will be located onsite in Linthicum, MD.
Responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:

Reviewing new project requests & revisions for accuracy & compliance with Sector capital procedures.

Creating SAP artifacts for all approved PJS’s (projects, WBS elements, networks, budgets & schedules, etc…) and submitting e-orders for approval.

Collaborating with project execution leads throughout project execution, ensuring timely in-service of completed assets as well as meeting cost & schedule targets.

Minimizing Assets Under Capitalization (AUC) balances, completing asset capitalizations shortly after asset in-service

Distribution of new Capital asset tags
-
Performing periodic audit of Capital assets

Interfacing with & providing guidance to Division and Functional Organization points-of-contact on all matters relating to capital projects.

Conducting timely status reviews of projects and budgets.

Maintaining capitalization accountability records.

Assisting with all internal and external audit inquires.
-
Additional assignments may be given to assist other team members, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience or 1 year with a Master’s degree

Experience using SAP
-
Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data

Collaborative and team oriented
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Business Management or Project Management discipline

Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office tools

Proven track record of driving projects to closure
-
Strong written and oral communication skills
Salary Range: $68,800.00 - $103,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
