Summary

Definition of the NC/CAPA system and procedures (in coordination with the QMR) 

Quality system and CAPA Background

Primary Responsibilities

·         Monthly analysis of the defined CAPA KPIs (for Q-Barometer) 

·         Advising CAPA owners on the analysis and implementation of CAPAs

·         Training and support of CAPA specialists -

·         Monitoring compliance with deadlines for CAPAs (including reminders to CAPA owners)

·         Approval of CAPA plans and completion of CAPAs

·         Training employees on NC/CAPA procedures

·         Preparation and administration of the CAPA board -

·         Collaboration with authorities, notified bodies and customers

·         Processing all government and customer inquiries regarding the CAPA system, internal auditing and data analysis (KPIs)

·         Support of auditing processes and company inspections by customers, authorities, notified bodies and other certification institutions in the areas of CAPA/internal auditing/data analysis (KPIs)

·         Initiation and active participation in measures related to NGS processes

·         Active participation in the innovation process

·         Development, creation and maintenance of procedural instructions and work instructions for the QM system.

General Tasks

·         Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.

·         Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

·         CAPA process knowledge, preferable CAPA experience

·         Experience with training employees

·         Experience with internal/external audits

·         High level of quality awareness

·         Focused, reliable and independent working style

·         Advanced IT user skills

·         English language very good (used daily)

Travel Requirements

The willingness to travel to all Novanta locations and business contacts of Novanta (less than 50% of working time)
