Location:

Able to commute to the London office location regularly (hybrid work schedule, 3 or more days per week)

What We Do:

Our  C++ development team builds our real-time exchange technology which includes order handlers, matching engines, market data distribution and everything else in between. This  dedicated and focussed team runs some of Europe's largest exchanges where every team member makes a significant contribution to the success of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an intern to gain insight into what it takes to operate a large, complex platform reliably and efficiently.

In this role you will:

• Develop high quality C++ software in accordance with Cboe software engineering processes.

• Be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate closely with team members to solve technical challenges.

• Participate in team ceremonies such as our stand-up, planning and operations meeting.

Requirements:

• Undertaking a bachelor’s degree or higher

• Experience of programming in C++ (or another C like language)

• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.

• Familiarity with Linux, SQL and knowledge of basic Linux system administration tasks.

• Strong critical thinking, communication and organisational skills.

• Ambitious, motivated, not afraid to try new tasks and high personal integrity.

• Not afraid to get stuck into tasks you’ve never done

• Able to commute to London office location regularly (hybrid work schedule)
