We're seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to optimise our finance and accounting operations. In this role, you'll identify inefficiencies, design improved workflows, and implement solutions that enhance accuracy, compliance, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing finance and accounting processes to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and improvement opportunities
  • Document current and future-state processes using flowcharts, process maps, and detailed procedures
  • Develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & detailed process maps for finance and accounting functions
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to implement process improvements
  • Design and execute test plans to validate process changes
  • Develop KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure process performance
  • Lead training sessions on new processes and systems
  • Support compliance requirements by ensuring processes adhere to relevant regulations
  • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and build consensus among stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in process analysis, with specific focus on finance and accounting processes
  • Proven expertise in process mapping techniques and SOP development
  • Experience creating clear, accessible documentation for complex financial workflows
  • Strong understanding of financial operations including AP/AR, general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close
  • Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Certification in process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean) preferred
