Job Description
The Operations Specialist – Global Business Operations role helps IFS to execute on business goals by performing core business reporting for effective business insight across the organization.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Report development and preparation, business analysis
• Prepare historical and forward-looking KPI analysis. Understand, use and combine the different internal data sources, and summarize the results in MS Excel and PowerBI. Discuss measurement approach and share critical business insights with key stakeholders
• Take ownership for, and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting to provide value-added insight to leadership across the organization.
• Develop new and enhance existing reporting assets in line with business requirements
• Provide technical input to the development of new reporting assets as required, including advice and guidance on data sourcing approaches
• Sourcing and in-depth analysis of data for key KPIs and ad hoc business requirements
Process Definitions and Enhancement
• Develop processes to enhance operational reporting procedures
• Assessment of existing reporting tools and methodologies to simplify and standardize them in line with the IFS Global operating model
• Implement cross functional initiatives in cooperation with Global and Regional functions
Business Partnering:
• Act as trusted business advisor to organizational management by translating data into actionable insights, clearly explaining key messages for decision support
• Manage updates to Global Business Operations intranet platform
Qualifications
Essential:
- 2+ years’ experience in Business Operations, Finance, data analyst or related business support role, ideally with experience in an international organization with virtual working environment. Recent graduates also considered.
- MSFT Excel skills to Intermediate level
- University degree or comparable professional experience
- Professional fluency in English
Desirable:
- Proficiency in additional languages are a plus

- Ability to manage complex topics across the complete business landscape and operating functions.

- Affinity for working with data and transforming it into management reporting information
- Proficiency in information technology trends and developments are a plus.
