Job Description
The role involves advising and promoting the strategic agenda for the EMEA Capital Markets business, supporting the London-based business team, and coordinating the allocation of the bank's corporate resources. Business Managers act as a trusted advisor and counterweight to Business heads. Their role is to Identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks. In addition they work closely with the business to optimize bottom line performance by driving initiatives and developing business strategy.
As Business Manager - Associate level in the EMEA Capital Markets Business Management team, your responsibility will be to advise and help drive the strategic agenda for the EMEA Capital Markets business, including Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets, Leverage Finance, and Equity Capital Markets. The role will be primarily supporting the business team based in London. This represents an excellent platform to work with a variety of teams across Global Banking as well as building an understanding of capital markets products. The role of a business manager is both time-sensitive and high-profile as it involves supporting and advising senior management, as well as coordinating the allocation of the bank's corporate resources to achieve strategic and tactical goals.
Job responsibilities
- Develops and oversee of performance metrics for the business, including financial, pipeline, expenses
- Prepares of business performance presentations/reviews
- Manages of financial / pipeline data and review of underlying information on a periodic basis, in collaboration with functional partners
- Assists in key business/strategic, regulatory, and governance priorities for the franchise
- Supports development of business strategy, client prioritization and revenue planning, co-ordination, and delivery of key initiatives and projects
- Analyses, monitors and has an understanding of JPMorgan's competition position as per Dealogic including both wallet and volume
- Builds product knowledge and awareness of business and industry developments / requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong understanding of Investment Banking (M&A, ECM and DCM) products a plus
