Job Description

As a Business Development Representative, you are key to driving the company’s growth by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. Serving as the first point of contact for potential clients, your responsibilities include generating leads, engaging prospects, and arranging meetings for Business Development Managers to finalize sales. Success in this role demands a proactive understanding of client needs, industry trends, and technology solutions, paired with the ability to communicate them effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential clients using platforms like LinkedIn and industry databases
  • Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and other methods to engage potential clients
  • Qualify leads based on fit, interest, and readiness, prioritizing high-potential opportunities
  • Schedule meetings with qualified prospects for Business Development Managers
  • Understand customer pain points to tailor outreach and highlight product solutions
  • Document and update prospect interactions in CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Work closely with Business Development Managers and marketing teams on lead generation strategies
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams on client needs, product fit, and market trends
  • Stay informed on industry developments and competitor strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of at least 2-3 years of experience in a sales position or related field, preferably within the technology industry or in a B2B sales environment
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Understanding of solution-based or consultative selling techniques
  • Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Software (Salesforce)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with strong time management skills and the resilience to handle rejection while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Bilingual (French and English: reason- bilingual clients).
