About the role:
This position is responsible for analysis and execution of product initiatives for the Digital Integration Hub product, FIS’s centralized integration platform for Trading and Asset Services. This position is responsible for supporting the product vision and strategy, gathering customer requirements through business-line solution leaders, and ensuring successful rollouts through close collaboration with engineering, sales, professional services, marketing and support. In this role, you are responsible for supporting the product line, extending current functionality as well as developing new product offerings.
About the team:
FIS’ Digital Integration Hub (DIH) team is structured horizontally across FIS’ Trading & Asset Services business and aims to build and rebuild digital connectors between internal products as well as third[1]party partners. DIH seeks to integrate products and solutions using modern integration standards and best practices. DIH works with business/solution leaders responsible for key ecosystems to meet integration requirements aimed at linking products and solutions to provide a more automated, unified FIS experience for our clients. DIH is a centralized home for strategic integrations, established to build, enhance, maintain, and support strategic integrations.
What you will be doing:
• Ensure that the product supports the business line’s overall strategy and goals
• Translate strategic business goals into defined product development initiatives
• Breakdown product development initiatives into manageable work efforts for development teams
• Interact with Product Managers, Product Owners, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance and Scrum Masters
• Deliver capabilities that expand the rate of adoption of product integrations
• Provide clear direction and success criteria to development teams
• Prepare accurate and detailed business requirement documents, functional specifications and user interface guides
• Create the scope for, and coordinate the maintenance of, standard DIH Connectors
• Build relationships with clients and validate development initiatives based on client and business line solution leader feedback received
• Engage stakeholders and manage effectively in making decisions
• Stay up to date on industry topics and identify, research, and validate new features within the market
• Provide input and collaborate with stakeholders on the definition of the roadmap for specific client types • Help product owner to prioritize the product and release backlogs
• Support product owner in providing the content for Product Documentation, Training Materials and Release notes
• Interact with key stakeholders to understand, validate, document and prioritize new product features and requests
• Provide status and progress updates on product development initiatives
What you will need:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent of education experience
• Understanding of integration solution software products highly preferred
• Understanding of the private equity market, investment accounting and / or other financial services industry experience is highly preferred
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Visio an additional plus.
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to think creatively and problem-solve
• Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
