What We're Looking For
We are seeking a sharp Business Analyst with strong experience in cards (issuing, charge/debit) business processes and reporting. The ideal candidate is someone with a 5-year experience in credit card processing/operations focusing on issuing data, with a strong exposure to analytics. You will have knowledge of the main card networks' transaction processing rules and standards; transaction lifecycle, both for single message and dual message transaction processing (authorization and clearing), experience with ISO-8583 messaging and transaction types and technical competency in data.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Product, Fintech Banking and Operations to understand business processes and strategies. Facilitate requirement elicitations – plan, capture analyze and validate data and reporting requirements
- Prepare dashboard drafts, business process and dataflow diagrams to support various size implementations. Understand delivery objectives, coordinate planning activities, own development of acceptance criteria and plan to facilitate UAT
- Partner with the Product team to develop and maintain tracking and reporting of KPIs
- Work with broader Data team to onboard data sets, develop reporting and reconciliation
- Take Ownership of final deliverables. This includes data quality, data pipelines, change management as needed.
- A successful candidate will be a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in a multitude of domains; but most importantly Fintech Banking and Credit Cards.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the commerce, payments and/or banking industry, including network schemes, technologies, leading players, emerging trends, and regulatory nuance.
- A broad understanding of the fintech space.
- At least 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst function for credit cards/banking organization, Marketplace lending, or credit card processing solutions provider. Exposure to Fintech is a must.
- Excellent communication, exceptional analytical, and conceptual thinking skills to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business, gather requirements, and oversee projects from beginning to end.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Tableau Certification)

Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00
