You will be part of the RSS Analytics and Automation - a global team with regional presence in Switzerland, India, Costa Rica, Hungary and Malaysia.
As an Automation Developer, you will be focused, but not limited to, developing and maintaining solutions using scripting languages and robotic process automation in a customer centric way. Your communication and critical thinking skills will be very much needed when assessing ideas and confirming requirements. In this role, you are expected to exhibit a good sense of accountability for your projects, effectively manaage your time to achieve goals, and actively mentor and guide junior developers. This includes sharing your technical expertise, providing support, and offering constructive feedback to foster their professional growth
Your Opportunity

Design, develop, test, support solutions to automate processes through RPA, scripting, Desktop Automation (e.g. VBS, Google AppScript, SAP Script, phyton, etc).

Be the go-to-person for all technical questions on the implementation and operations of automation processes, especially bring the technical judgment to table when it comes to select the best tool for a use case

Contribute in the team annual/quarterly objectives

Embrace new ways of working with fast iterations, lean documentation and planning, close alignment to our colleagues from business and IT and close communication across global teams

Partner closely with Global Product Owners, developers, business analysts/partners, platform teams and boost cross-regional collaboration and leverage existing solutions

Transition and maintain automations in production, as required

Lead implementations with regional and/or global teams

Participate in requirements gathering and design through client meetings, interviews, and workshops

Assess automation opportunities from a technical perspective to arrive at an optimal solution

Fulfill team and enterprise requirements related to security, scalability, quality and performance

Perform demos, code reviews, and retrospectives; communicates ideas for team continuous improvement and willingly receives feedback for self-improvement

Participate in exploratory projects to evaluate new technologies and establish new services

Mentor and guide junior developers, providing them with technical expertise, support, and constructive feedback to enhance their professional growth

Adhere to team standards related with Quality and Service KPIs
Who you are
-
You hold a bachelor's degree Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or technical field or equivalent experience in the area of Automation and 4 to 7 years of experience developing solutions in at least 1 of the following technologies/platforms: UiPath or similar and programing languages (e.g. JavaScript, Node.JS, .Net, VBA/VBS., Google App Script, SAP Scripting, python)

Mindset to work in team environments focused on problem-solving rather than Job Titles

Self-starter and effective while working with minimal supervision. Able to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively

Adaptable to work in cross-region, cross-time zone setup between Americas, Europe and Asia

Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers, fostering their growth and development

Experience in Shared Service Center environment and Automation Development Certification or similar is added advantage
