Position Overview:
With the OmniPod Insulin Management System as its flagship product, Insulet Corporation is one of the fastest growing medical device companies in the U.S. as well as internationally. Insulet now innovates, manufactures and commercializes technologies for continuous subcutaneous infusion for a variety of drug therapies.
With an initial emphasis on the Diabetes business, the primary responsibility of this Marketing Associate position will be centered on developing materials for the field sales team and developing requirements for a range of Omnipod projects. This position will have a large component that will be focused on learning for upstream marketing, digital and strategy.
By working proactively and collaboratively with all stakeholders throughout every unit of the business, this marketing associate will have an important role in ensuring continued growth for Insulet Corporation in both upstream and downstream projects especially related to digital health, Type 2 diabetes and future platforms. Additionally, this Marketing associate will be required to take part in annual and multi-year budgeting, planning, assessment of new opportunities, as well as timely and effective execution against all established projects and priorities pertaining to the introduction or in-market support of any live product line or line extension.
Responsibilities:

Material development and product management with a primary focus on digital health and Type 2 diabetes.

Developing new skill sets to effectively support upstream marketing, financial modeling and strategy.

Give input into and executing on research for proposed projects.

Work on short term deliverables, field sales questions/ needs, vendor relations and new collateral development

Support or provide field sales training for areas of focus.

Ensure timely and consistent provision of US marketing support materials along with general support of our international marketing team.

Continuously work to refine and institutionalize best practice processes to ensure operational efficiency in bringing products to market.

Responsible for LAF (regulatory, legal and quality) approval for projects.

Responsible for helping with National Sales Meeting and mid-year Point of Action meeting

Collaboration with team members on project needs and deadlines.

Every-other month field sales ride, along with travel to diabetes and digital conferences.

Perform other duties as required.
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business/Engineering or applicable field
-
Previous internship or full time position in marketing or sales for medical device or pharma company.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:

MS preferred

Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent, complex and cross-functional projects required.

Experience working in medical device or pharma regulatory and quality systems environment while in internship or full time position.

Will be required to do 1 field rides every other month in the US and attend all project related tradeshows, sales meetings and required conferences.
