What You Will Get To Do: 

• Review tax workpapers.
• Responsible for meeting client deliverable due dates.
• Develops and implements solutions to partnership tax allocation issues within the framework of our proprietary software.
• Interacts with internal fund accounting staff on an as-needed basis to provide tax accounting guidance.
• Assists in the maintenance and testing of our software, workpapers and procedures by analyzing changes in tax and industry requirements and suggests improvements.
• Performs research of relevant tax laws, regulations and rulings to determine the proper tax treatment of issues.
• Analyzes company financial statements.
• Manage and mentor a team

What You Will Bring: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in taxation or accounting – CPA/MBA a plus.
• A solid understanding of the accounting & tax treatments applicable to a wide variety of publicly & privately traded domestic & foreign financial instruments including equities, debt, forwards, futures, options, swaps & derivatives.
• 8+ years of recent partnership tax accounting experience, preferably in the area of investment partnerships.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience
• An above-average proficiency in the use of MS Excel as well as a working knowledge of the entire MS Office product suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of client service.

NY: Salary range for the position: $60,000 USD to $130,000 USD.
