Job Summary
The purpose of the Associate Global Product Manager Food & Beverage Biosciences is to support the lead and optimization and implementation of some key aspects of the product lines on a global scale. This role involves close collaboration with the operations team, Regional Industry Leaders, Regulatory Affairs, and Global Strategic Product Managers to ensure seamless integration and execution. As an integral member of the Business team, the Associate Global Product Manager champions good leadership behavior and embodies IFF Values in all interactions and work activities, contributing to the overall success of the BU.
The Associate Global Product Manager Junior Product Manager is a vital member of the Food & Beverage Biosciences team, reporting directly to the Business Director Food & Beverage Biosciences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor the margin development of the portfolio and work with Global Strategic Product Managers and the Supply Chain Organization, to execute product margin optimization plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams on projects to reduce product cost, release capacity, improve quality/safety and/or meet regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams on new product implementation and changes, within IFF Systems, to ensure timely execution.
- Review and optimize global supply chain routes and corresponding production locations.
- Engage with label programs and develop and oversee the product registration plan together with product leaders and regulatory.
- Own information platforms, data sources and manage data quality for portfolio.
- Lead sampling process improvements.
- Manage customer product-related requests process.
- Report quarterly on project metrics for new product sales tracking and forecasting.
- Maintain product documentation to reflect changing regulatory approvals (QA letter, label/PD with QA/Reg, follow up SAP code setup, certifications).
- Participate in supply/capacity planning process to ensure business needs are considered.
- Execute analysis on SKU rationalization and execute rationalization according to what is agreed with Global Strategic Product Managers.
- Reconcile global sales orders and forecast demand with production schedule and logistics.
- Represent product management in commercial excellence projects as e.g. service levels.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, supply chain, business administration or international business.
- Minimum of 3yrs product / project management experience in a matrix organization, with a strong technical and/or commercial focus.
- Excellent English communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Computer literacy – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Sharepoint, SalesForce, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.
