Join our dynamic team at Core One as an ‘Associate, Contracts and Program Control’, where you'll play a vital role in managing our robust portfolio of government programs. As an Associate, you will be at the forefront of ensuring contractual compliance, financial efficiency, and successful program execution. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and analyzing program statuses, providing financial expertise to Program Managers, and contributing to the achievement of corporate goals. Applicants should have experience in various contract types (CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQs, etc.) and have a strong understanding of financial management practices and/or accounting principles.

Requirements:

  • Review pricing submissions for small dollar task orders and sole source procurements
  • Forecast budgets and performing actual costs analysis, including contract burn rates, estimated labor costs, labor utilization, and profit margins
  • Complete and maintain proper project setups directly in Deltek Costpoint
  • Monitor contractual compliance, including developing and maintaining reports consistent with contract requirements
  • Develop estimates-at-complete (EACs) and estimates-to-complete (ETCs) for multiple programs and task orders
  • Review invoices prior to submission to the customer
  • Review invoices from subcontractors and independent contractors supporting programmatic efforts
  • Monitor and track program costs, including employee and subcontractor incurred labor and materials costs
  • Report programmatic financial data to program managers
  • Ensure adequate funding availability and submit timely requests for additional funding, when necessary
  • Assist with audit requests
  • Provide other contract deliverables to be determined and as required by contracts and/or management
  • Review and analyze prime contract awards, subcontracts, and other agreements to ensure the project structure meets financial and reporting requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance or higher.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a very strong aptitude in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively interact and negotiate with a variety of different customers, partners, vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Government contracting types and financial principles.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
