Title:  Accounting AssociateThe Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to provide essential support to the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in managing financial operations, monitoring company expenditure, and supporting cash flow and expense management. The role involves tasks such as bookkeeping, processing invoices and payments, preparing financial reports, liaising with auditors, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.Location: Sun Prairie, WI (One QBE Way)Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week  The hourly range for this role is between $24.00 an hour and $35.75 an hourYour new role

  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure accounting records are maintained in line with relevant accounting standards and internal policies and guidance.
  • Participate in cash flow management activities.
  • Assist in the implementation of relevant optimization projects and process efficiencies.
  • Establish and maintain an efficient, effective relationship between Finance and Business Unit Finance staff.
  • Support efforts to achieve compliance with financial regulations and meet compliance deadlines.
  • Build relationships across all areas of the company.
  • Undertake all required training to acquire and maintain necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Deliver high-quality advice to underwriting and processing staff.
  • Act as onshore liaison to the accounts payable and receivable teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Experience

  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Experience in a finance or accounting / assistant accounting role.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience.
