About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Motion Designer Assistant Vice President that will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing visually compelling graphic and motion designs for iCapital. This role requires a highly skilled and innovative designer with extensive experience in graphics, layouts, and animations, and a keen eye for detail. This individual will work closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to construct engaging and on-brand visual commercial/B2B content that resonates with our target audience.
Responsibilities
- Develop video motion design for both internal and customer-facing touchpoints (e.g., sizzle reels, out-of-home advertising, social media posts, product demos, etc.).
- Execute creative design concepts for various B2B marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, presentation slides, print collateral, email templates, and website visuals.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to understand campaign objectives and create designs that effectively communicate key messages and drive consumer engagement.
- Ensure all designs are on-brand, visually appealing, and aligned with the overall marketing strategy of the hospitality program.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in B2B design and fintech to continuously elevate the visual identity of iCapital.
- Provide creative input and design solutions for special projects, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Work closely with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure consistency and quality across all design deliverables.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the overall creative direction.
- Work cross-functionally, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in motion animation and graphic design
- Commercial/B2B experience working in the fintech or financial services industry
- Strong portfolio and reel showcasing a range of creative design and animation projects demonstrating proficiency in digital, print, and video
- Proficiency in design, motion graphics, and video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong desire to push the boundaries and deliver innovative marketing campaigns
- Experience working with digital marketing teams to iterate design concepts based on data-driven performance insights
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
