Responsibilities:
Assist the Head of Finance in the key areas:

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the coordination of the annual expense budget with management and Corporate Planning Department, securing Board approval. Develop and implement forecasting models to effectively monitor expense utilization and provide insightful reporting to the Head of Finance and Planning Office of Asia.

Financial Reporting & Audit: Manage the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports for external auditors and management to meet reporting deadlines. Provide comprehensive support and assistance to external auditors throughout the audit process.

Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of income tax returns to the tax authorities and manage the transfer pricing documentation and other tax matters, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Data Governance & Special Projects: Collaborate with the secretariat on initiatives to enhance data governance frameworks and contribute to strategic projects, including e-Invoicing and ESG, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to process improvement.

Operational Expertise: Leverage deep understanding of banking operations, particularly in managing financial reconciliations, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
Requirements:

Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution with professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc)

Preferably with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in audit and/or banking industry.

Good stakeholder management skills

Ability to work effectively in team setting.

A good team player who is meticulous, detail oriented and pro-active.

Strong knowledge of accounting, MFRS and banking regulation.

Strong PC skills particularly in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access
