Job Title: Assistant, Marketing & Digital
A little bit about our team:
The Pop/Rock/Country/Dance Marketing Department at Atlantic Records is responsible for developing comprehensive strategies for marketing our artists as well as coordinating all efforts, internally and with outside parties, on all projects.
The Digital Marketing team at Atlantic Music Group is a full-service, agency-like marketing team, dedicated to building artist careers through the intersection of music and technology. We are responsible for digital strategy and marketing for all artists on the roster, acting as artist partners in our 360 relationships, across music, touring, merch, and all other aspects of the artist career. Through creative marketing and influencer campaigns, we build online and mobile fan communities, with an eye towards evolving the way that fans listen to, participate in, and purchase music and related products. We create, market, distribute and optimize content, develop and implement CRM/fan acquisition strategies, and work with new, engaging digital platforms and startups.
Your role:
You will provide administrative, digital marketing and marketing support for the President of Digital and Executive Vice President, Head of Marketing - Pop/Rock.
Here you’ll get to:
- Manage supervisors’ calendars, coordinate meetings, and book travel. Optimize the calendar of the executives, prioritizing key meetings and events. Anticipate conflicts, coordinate last-minute changes, and prepare executives for upcoming meetings.
- Manage general department functions & interact with all business associates in professional & courteous manner.
- Attend company meetings in connection with assigned projects, take thoughtful and thorough notes, and provide your supervisors with timely feedback and follow-up regarding any action items. Also distribute notes timely distributed to all relevant parties after each meeting.
- Organize and submit monthly expense reports (T&E) and monitor approval status of the reports to ensure prompt payment.
- Provide direct operational support to the digital marketing team in all areas of a music release.
- Create and update artist calendars, timelines, schedules, and one-sheets weekly.
- Design images and graphics for artist marketing decks, reports, and one-sheets.
- Maintain, organize, and distribute all artist assets (including, but not limited to artwork, video assets, music, etc.).
- Write and distribute marketing highlights for internal and external partners.
- Run Luminate, Spotify For Artists, Mediabase, and other essential reports for internal and external distribution.
- Maintain relationships with outside vendors including managing prompt invoicing and payments.
- Order, manage, and maintain quantities of artist promotional vinyl / CDs as well as office supply inventories.
- Assist and support artist events with outside vendors and venues.
- Attend events and shows to form relationships with contacts at other record labels, agencies, management firms, and other entertainment companies.
About you:
- You are passionate about music, the music industry, and culture and have a finger on the pulse of new music trends and emerging subcultures.
- You are familiar with Gen Z and Gen Alpha interests, behaviors, and platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Spotify.
- You are highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities and stay on top of deadlines in a timely manner.
- You have strong communication skills and are comfortable interacting with artists, executives, and partners across the industry. You are also a team player and enjoy working within a team.
- You are adaptable and resilient with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and a natural problem solver.
- You are creative and have Photoshop and Illustrator experience.
- You have meticulous attention to detail.
- You have strong research and problem solving skills.
We’d love it if you also had:
- BS or BA in Marketing, Communications, or similar
- Prior music-related experience.
- Experience working directly with artists, artist managers, booking agencies, etc.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator, short-form video editing.
- Experience with compiling data and discerning most relevant or important information and insights.

Salary Range
$19.23 to $23.84 Hourly
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
