What will you be doing in this role?
- Conduct technical analysis of applications for migration with application owners and stakeholders.
- Gather requirements, expectations, complexity, and priority from stakeholders.
- Develop Application Assessment Reports for each application.
- Advise on migration options.
- Assist in designing cloud deployment strategies for applications.
- Support technical planning and execution of migrations.
- Aid engineers and developers in executing migration plans.
- Help design and automate cloud deployment processes.
- Advise on testing plans to validate functionality post-migration.
- Guide performance testing to meet SLAs and benchmarks.
- Assist in resolving issues identified during testing.
- Design and support data migration with a focus on integrity, security, and compliance.
- Implement data validation and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure security best practices and policy compliance during and after migration.
- Address compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful migrations.
- Provide regular status updates on progress, risks, and issues.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Hold at least a High School degree
- Recent experience in planning and executing cloud migrations for services and applications.
- Skilled in analyzing application requirements, dependencies, and service needs.
- Proficient in cloud platforms, including Azure and AWS.
- Knowledgeable in DevSecOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Jenkins.
- Experienced in automated deployments using Terraform, Ansible, Azure ARM, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Competent in containerizing applications and deploying them with Kubernetes and Helm charts.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java and .NET.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experienced in Agile planning and Scrum methodology.
- Fluent in English at a C1 level.
