Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Applications Development Lead to oversee the development and implementation of cutting-edge software applications. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can manage a team of developers, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality applications on time and within budget.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of application developers.

• Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.

• Design and architect scalable and maintainable software solutions.

• Conduct testing and code reviews to ensure application quality and performance.

• Oversee project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure efficient delivery.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Provide technical guidance and support to the development team.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in application development and leading development teams.

• Strong technical skills, including expertise in programming languages and software development tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Familiarity with JDE is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools.

• Exposure to data analytics and machine learning concepts.
