Assess and execute logistics needs and ensure the compliance of Edwards, its Vendors and entities of Edwards

Essential Job Functions

  • Execute warehouse operations smoothly to support EW demands such as arranging for storage of inventory, applying proper Japanese labeling and IFU, quality inspection, kitting and pick/pack/ship etc.
  • Manage and obtain accurate forecast logistics activities cost
  • Perform detailed analysis to improve supply chain/logistics operations
  • Fulfill orders to the satisfaction of the customers, and arrange for prompt deliveries
  • Create and maintain processes, procedures, and documents (e.g., SOPs, work instructions, process sheet) for logistics
  • Other incidental duties

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of previous related experience is required
  • Experience in Med-tech is nice to have

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g., SQMS, JDE, JDA) preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English, and native level in Japanese
