The Opportunity

A great opportunity to work within Adobe Consulting. The consultant in C&C practices (Content (AEM) & Commerce (Magento)) will work directly with our customers to initiate and lead their Digital Assets management system and implementations using the Adobe’s Experience Cloud solutions working primarily with Adobe Experience Manager and Commerce product lines. Working at multiple levels with the customer and their systems integrator partners, you will evaluate the proposed solution, assess risks, confirm requirements, document integration points, and manage resource requirements. You will be responsible for delivery and acceptance of the project from project initiation through planning, driving, monitoring to closing.

What You'll Do

  • Be responsible for working directly with customers and prospects to match business problems to technology, providing technical skills on the ground with customers and alongside partners as well as evangelizing the value of Adobe’s vast array of technologies.
  • Ensure effective use of the Adobe Consulting Methodology processes and procedures.
  • To architect, design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery.
  • Hands-on and implement the solutions along with a high technically focused team to provide technical expertise in the Design and planning of solutions.
  • Build solutions on top of the Adobe AEM modules of Adobe Commerce
  • Transfers and ensures business requirements into technical specs and provides technical implementation solution and recommendations.
  • Build and integrate content-driven applications on top of AEM+Commerce
  • Define implementation processes, and best practices.
  • Hands-on contribution as part of the team and own the day-to-day technical activities bringing in excellence in implementation.
  • Work closely with clients, developers, system administrators and BA’s to build Adobe AEM- WCM solutions and Commerce

What You Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science or similar subject area.
  • 3 to 10+ years’ experience as a consultant, preferably delivering large enterprise-based Content Management from a vendor perspective.
  • Experience in working with highly scalable customer facing web applications and web content management systems.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and tools (e.g. Maven, Eclipse/IntelliJ, Jenkins/Hudson, GIT), and agile development methodologies (SCRUM)
  • Expert or understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP combined with a strong understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
  • Expertise with core web technologies including XML, XHTML, Client Server-Side Scripting languages such as JavaScript, and JSP, and web services development using RESTful implementations.
  • Experience in working with global teams across different geographies.
  • Experience in delivering projects using an agile methodology, e.g. SCRUM.
  • Experience preferable in using project delivery tools such as JIRA, Rally, etc.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Project and Excel to lead project delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (verbal, written and presentation) to all levels within an organization.
